Producer’s distribution and awards
Set to compete in “Festival de cine contra la corrupción” in Monterrey, didn’t get selected. Afterwards, the film went to the Central Film Festival USA in 2019 and followed the track of film festivals, when I was 17 years old.
Distributed through free film festivals in FilmFreeway and cold emailing.
Writer’s Concept
The project was originally conceived listening to “Cassius Pearly Whites” by Foster The People. I imagined a sort-ofmusic video where a policeman ignores the suffering around him. As a Reynosa-native, I lived first-hand how policemen were replaced by soldiers during the War on Drugs.
Editing and Post-Production
I used Premiere to compose with several layers, including composition of ambient occlusion and Depth of field. Rendered nightly on my old Windows AMD CPU 2014 machine with 8GB RAM.
Self-built 3D rigging with stickmen characters.
